The Coffee Shop

Candy Chace on Stewarton's High Street is a traditional sweet shop and a bustling coffee shop open from 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am until 4pm on Saturdays.

In the café we sell freshly ground espresso coffee and a wide range of home-baking including scones, tray bakes and fresh cream cakes. We sell a variety of lunch options - panini and toasties, a wide range of sandwiches, baguettes and wraps as well as salads, baked potatoes and home-made soup. Our breakfast menu includes scrambled eggs, porridge, croissants and Danish pastries.

About Us

Candy Chace was started in 2004 as an old-fashioned sweet shop and occupies the old Post Office premises in Stewarton High Street. It is owned and run by Mandy and Euan Campbell. It flourished as a business and over the next three years we added gifts, ice-cream, take-out coffee and home baking to the menu. In August 2007 following some refurbishment to the inside of the property it expanded to include seating and became a small coffee shop.

This proved very successful and in late 2008 some major investment resulted in the property being extended to more than twice its original size - it is now very difficult to recognise the old Post Office. Since opening the extension the business has grown considerably. It still retains the old-fashioned confectionery, stocking over 100 types of sweet, the majority of which have their origins in our childhood. We also stock good quality chocolates which we package in a range of sizes of gift box or simply sell by the quarter.
