Boys' Brigade Parents Night and Awards Ceremony

Stewarton Boys' Brigade held their Annual Display & Parents Night on Friday 14th May in The Centre in Stewarton.

The boys put on a show of entertainment and awards for over 200 family and friends of the Company.

The boys played games, marching, singing along with a few sketches which kept the audience amused with our Senior boys putting on their own production.

The night finished up with our presentation of awards.

Inspector Gordon Thomson of Strathclyde Police carried out duties of Inspecting Officer and also presented the awards. John Neil OBE, Brigade Honorary President, UK & Republic of Ireland also presented 6 President's and 5 Queen's awards (Which are the second highest and highest award boys can work for). Queen's Awards went to Martin Black, Mark Fairlie, Cameron Reid, Cameron Wright and Kier Fulton. The President's Awards went to Jordan McQueen, Ryan Gardiner, Ryan Pitt, Mark Askew, Josh Horner and Ewan Strain.

Both Parents, staff & boys had an enjoyable night. The boys & officers would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to everyone who helped in any way to make the night a success.
