Plans for Strandhead Park Facilities Available

The Community Council has supported the proposal to build an Area Sports Centre at Strandhead Park, for which the planning application process has commenced. The Community Council has made some recommendations concerning traffic access and parking for this long awaited facility.

The detailed plans are now available for review and examination in the Resource Centre (No.5 Avenue Street 1000 to 1200; Monday to Friday Tel: 01560 480324). It is understood that the planned start for the project is November 2010, for completion in March 2012.
