Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs - 14 Dec 2009

The Music Box primary class put on a production of 'Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs' for an audience of family and friends at the Church of Our Lady and St. John, in Stewarton on Friday.
The children, aged 4 to 11 years, had worked hard during their Music Box classes since the October holiday on a series of songs and dances linked with rhyming narration and delighted their audience with the performance.
Producer, Naomi Allison, said, "The children did a terrific job. Although I have been producing shows with The Music Box for many years, I continue to be amazed by the capacity of children to rise to any challenge.
"At The Music Box we do not hold extra rehearsals, everything that the parents see at a production is done within regular class times - in this case the children have rehearsed for less than 1 hour a week for seven weeks and still achieved a very creditable performance - well done to all of them!"
The performers were Jordan Cramond, Gabriella Devenney, Callum Dowden, Oliver Dowden, Sophie Gillies-Craig, Morgan Hannah, Blake Hannah, Isla Kerr, Gabriella Lessing, Adam Moore, Charlotte Moore, Jenny Morton, Lucy Murray, Teagan Neish, Hannah Reid, Christina Ritchie, Kathryn Ritchie, Callum Ritchie, Caitlin Scullion, Ella Smith, Ewan Williamson and Jessica Williamson.
Naomi was assisted in the production by Maureen Rodgers and Lydia Breaks and the scenery was painted by Linette Penney of Stewarton's Penney Lane Studios.
