The Stewarton and District Historical Society are delighted to announce the winners of their recent Burns poetry competition for Stewarton primary schools.

All the entries were displayed at their recent Coffee Morning, (which incidentally raised several hundred pounds for the Society's funds - thanks to all who supported or contributed). The prize winners were as follows:-

Lainshaw Primary School

1st - Thairee Cowie Primary 5/6

Highly Commended - Niamh Campbell, Jaime Creach and Mollie MacKenzie

Nether Robertland Primary School

1st - Natasha Allen Primary 7

Highly Commended - Stephanie Nisbet, Cameron Lindsay and Natasha Stewart
