East Ayrshire Council have granted permission (with conditions) to Atrium Homes to build 64 affordable homes in Stewarton's Nether Robertland.

The development, on a 6 acre green field site, adjacent to Stewarton Academy has been designed by Coltart Earley Architects of Glasgow. It is anticipated work will commence in early summer and extend for around 18 months, with building being undertaken by McTaggart Construction of Dalry.

This work, and parallel developments in Kilmarnock, are all part funded by the Scottish Government, supplemented by private finance raised by Atrium.
