New Stewarton Art Competition - Great Prizes!

Penney Lane Studios, with Stewarton.com, are running an annual Art Competition. There are some great prizes on offer and this year's theme is 'Christmas.'

Artwork up to A3 in size may be entered in the competition before the deadline of 3pm on Friday 27 November. Entry into the competition is open to all young people aged 4 - 21 years within four age-group categories. Simply download your entry form and take it with your picture to Penney Lane Studios, Unit 9, 17 Avenue Street, Stewarton KA3 3BD (next to ‘Bespoke Furniture’ and ‘Beaver Printing’).

First prize for the 17 - 21 years category is a 3 hour mentoring session with talented local artist, Linette Penney, at Penney Lane Studios, including all materials provided, one to one help and guidance with your chosen medium. (worth well over £25).

There are three prizes for each of the three younger age groups including the first prize of your artwork framed and displayed by Annick Art  and a fabulous art pack. There are vouchers and art packs for 2nd and 3rd prizes too.

What's more, even if you do not win, all competition entries will be displayed at Penney Lane Studios until Sunday December 13. Judging will take place shortly after 27 November. Winners will be notified by telephone and the prize giving will take place on Saturday 05 December.

Linette Penney says, "I am really excitited about this project - it is all about encouraging Stewarton's young talent and I am looking forward to seeing all the entries."
