Judging for the Stewarton Art Competition took place yesterday at Penney Lane Studios, Avenue Street, and the winners have been announced.

The three Judges, local artist, Linette Penney, Corsehill Queen, Rachael Halliday and principal girl in this year's Stewarton Drama Group panto, Laura McPherson (Snow White) had a tough job since there were so many colourful and imaginative entries but they agreed on these winning entries:

The winners will attend a presentation at Penney Lane Studios at 10.00 on Saturday morning, 5 December, where they will receive their well earned prizes.

All the Artwork entered in the competition will remain on display until after the Yuletide Festival - the picture awarded first place in each class was framed by Annick Art and will be on display there between Thursday 10th and Saturday 12th December. All the other entries are already on display at Penney Lane Studios.
